It was a full house at City Hall on 13 October 2023 for the Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Qld Annual Sports Lunch! The almost 500 people in attendance heard from our very own Perry Cross and the equally inspiring, Emma Carey.
Em Carey, “The Girl who Fell from the Sky”, inspired the audience with her remarkable story and outlook on life, with a reminder to live life to its fullest – if you can, you must!
Perry Cross shared with the audience his life’s work since his spinal cord injury and the work of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation and the upcoming human clinical trials.
The WIRQ team, with the generosity of the Queensland insolvency industry, raised a total of $30,125 for the Foundation.
