As part of Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation launched their SIP Week fundraising campaign at TSS on the Gold Coast. Perry Cross delivered an inspiring address to the Year 11 students and discussed mindfulness, setting goals, working hard and developing meaning and purpose in life. The year 11 students then took part in the ‘Take my Ride’ initiative where they got to experience what life in a wheelchair is really like. SIP Week Ambassador Matt Khune was also on hand to launch the SIP Week campaign. Check out the media coverage captured on the day below.
