Ryan is the CEO and co-founder of Admiralty Capital Group, a Queensland based venture capital firm focused on early stage investment opportunities.

Ryan worked in Asian financial markets for almost 30 years, between Sydney, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He held Asia Pacific leadership positions at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America and more recently he lead the Asia Pacific Cash Equities business for J.P. Morgan before returning to Australia in April 2022.

Ryan, his wife Bec and their four children have recently resettled on the Gold Coast, where he founded Admiralty Capital Group.  A director of the foundation since 2014, many of Ryan and Bec’s philanthropic focuses are in the area of disability inclusion.
