Melanie is a life time Gold Coast local. After completing schooling at Marymount College she enrolled at Queensland University of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) – Honours with High Distinction. She is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and Chartered Tax Advisor. Having spent her professional career in mid-tier and Big 4 firms, she was admitted into the Partnership of KPMG Australia in October 2018 based in the Gold Coast office at Bundall.

Melanie has some 25 years professional experience and specialises in the provision of accounting, tax and advisory services to privately owned business, high net wealth families, executives and entrepreneurs. Melanie’s experience includes overseeing the tax compliance and tax consulting affairs for clients in a variety of industries and has a particular interest in tax effective structures for holding investments, property development, international taxation and succession planning.

Melanie lives on acreage in the Gold Coast Hinterland with her husband and children and a menagerie of animals. In her spare times she likes nothing more than spending quality time with friends and family, getting out in the garden, hiking and attending live theatre and music concerts.
