Special thanks to Jon & Georgia Drew

Jon Georgia Perry James

Special thank you to long-time friends and supporters of the Foundation, Jon and Georgia Drew of Drew Group, for their incredibly generous donation of $50,000 to support our Spinal Injury Project at Griffith University, Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research.

We could not fund this incredible spinal injury research focussed on a cure for paralysis, without the support of our community and we are so grateful to Jon and Georgia for their amazing donation.

To date, with the help of our wonderful supporters like Jon and Georgia, we have raised $7.5M of the $8.5M required to conduct a Rehabilitation and Cell Transplantation Human Clinical Trial for people living with a spinal cord injury. We are aiming to start the trial for 10 people living with paralysis in 2024.

Jon and Georgia (pictured here with Perry Cross and Professor James St John Griffith University, Clem Jones Centre for Neurobiology and Stem Cell Research) recently visited the laboratory to meet the research team and see the incredible spinal injury research being conducted.

“Being given the opportunity to get a glimpse into the day to day workings of such an innovative and passionate team was incredible. Seeing their drive to achieve life changing results was both humbling and inspirational. Congratulations to the team at Griffith University and PCSRF for all your outstanding efforts and results” Jon and Georgia said following their tour of the research lab.
