We would like to take this opportunity to honour an extraordinary Bequest we received recently of $1,050,000.
Patricia Helen Sayer gifted this significant donation as part of her Will. Patricia is the Aunty of Judy Trollope who generously facilitated this donation. This extraordinary Bequest is very special for the Trollope family and indeed for the Foundation too. This generous gift will support the upcoming Nerve Bridge Transplantation and Rehabilitation Human Clinical Trial as part of the $8.5M committed, and I thank Patricia and the Trollope family for their phenomenal continued generosity.
Judy and Mark Trollope and their family know only too well the effects a spinal cord injury can have on a family. Daniel sustained a spinal cord injury years ago and has been a dedicated part of the Foundations Membership Group since 2013. Daniel, his wife Holly, and her extended family the Harrisons, have been wonderful supporters of the Foundation over many years. Daniel was was our first ever Spinal Injury Project (SIP) Week Champion, 11 years ago.
Leaving a meaningful gift as part of your Will is a generous way to support important research. Every bequest, no matter its size, makes a difference to those suffering with a spinal cord injury. Learn more here: https://www.pcsrf.org.au/leave-a-gift/
