At a stunning, brand new location and in it’s 6th year, the recent Brisbane Legends Lunch was held at Black Hide Steak & Seafood by Gambaro, located at newly opened The Star Brisbane, Queen’s Wharf.

Over 160 guests attended the lunch to raise funds to support a cure for paralysis.

We are so grateful to our event committee, Rob Douglas, Sarah O’Kane and Kaye Hastie who were instrumental in organising the event.

A special thank you to the Legends Ella Sabljak, Matt McShane, Abby Craswell, Tim Horan, Nathan Sharpe, David Campese, Jai Opetaio, Kai Colless & Robbie Farrah who shared their stories and memorable moments with the guests, and also to our wonderful volunteers who supported this special event.

The success of the event relies also on the generosity of our community, we were so lucky to have so many incredible prizes on offer throughout the day.

A special thank you also to John Gambaro and his amazing team for taking such amazing care of our guests and to Moet & Chandon for providing the Magnum of Champagne for each of our tables. 

It was a hugely successful event raising over $113,000! We would like to thank each and every person who attended and purchased auction items, bought raffle tickets and made a donation by buying a bone – we are so grateful for your support.
