Thank you to Beric and Tina Lynton and the incredible team at The Gold Coast Fundraising Ball for hosting two days of fundraising for five local charities. The events started on Friday with a Golf Day where the Foundation partnered with Justin Williams from Corpsure to hold a Hole in One competition with the chance to win $25,000, thank you Justin. No one managed to get a hole in one, however a great morning was had by all. This was followed by lunch and concluded with the Ball on Saturday!
We had a small team of volunteers from the Foundation who helped sell raffle tickets and were spotters at the auction, and thanks to very generous guests bidding on auction items and purchasing raffle tickets, $146,969.50 was raised with $21,799.81 being donated to the Foundation!
We are so grateful to have been a beneficiary along with Gold Coast Community Fund, Guide Dogs Australia, MOB and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. Special thank you to Kyla and the events committee for your tireless efforts organising these events.
